In order to scrutinize & oppose the application as vigorously as possible, we are recruiting the help of a number of experts to look at certain areas of the application – these include a Windfarm Consultant, Noise/Acoustics Specialist, Landscape Architect and a lawyer from an Environmental & Public Law firm.
Thanks to your previous kindness, we have already raised some funds but need to keep going! Please give whatever you can afford as every penny counts, but if every one of our 600+ members were to donate £20 each, we would meet out fundraising target.

Stop Wyverstone Windfarm Action Group (swwag) has been set up to oppose a proposal to build a wind-farm in Potash Farm in Wyverstone.

Windpower Renewables Ltd has submitted a third planning application to build two wind turbines in Potash Farm. Each turbine would be 130m (430ft) high with a blade diameter similar to the the wing span of a Boeing 747 jumbo jet.
The first application was withdrawn by the developer at the last minute following a recommendation by Planning Officers at Mid Suffolk District Council that planning permission for the scheme be REFUSED.
The SECOND planning application was unequivocally rejected by the Planning Department on a number of grounds
swwag is fighting to ensure planning permission for the windfarm is refused... AGAIN!
